Course Description
This hands on art course is designed for students with an interest in advertising. Designing logos, packaging for products, and fun visuals all catch the consumer’s eye. Students will develop their visual communication skills through the manipulation of the appearance, form, and function of products in society today. Exploration of different media will be encouraged. Students will be given design problems to solve, translating ideas into form. Consumers buy most of their products based on their appearance; the relationship between design and function will be investigated as well as how social media and popular culture influence products available for purchase. |
